Tectonica has developed a ‘smart’ Modular Battery Charger (MBC-SMT) that recharges your existing batteries and can be easily reconfigured to recharge new battery types. The Tectonica MBC-SMT saves time and money and ensures that you keep pace with new technology. In the field, the MBC-SMT allows personnel to take a single charger to recharge all of their battery types. The charging unit can be deployed along with a range of modules to suit each type of battery in use. This significantly reduces the weight and space required to deploy battery chargers.
Powering the charger is now easier than ever; the MBC-SMT is designed to be powered from mains electricity, vehicle auxiliary power outlets, field generators, solar cells and UltraCell’s innovative fuel cells.
Not only does the MBC-SMT recharge almost any rechargeable battery, it also reconditions batteries and scavenges residual charge from spent batteries, both rechargeable and non-rechargeable. The charger automatically identifies when a non-rechargeable battery is inserted and then takes the residual power for use in recharging other batteries. The Tectonica MBC-SMT puts a stop to the waste of discarded batteries and provides you with the flexibility to recharge your entire inventory of rechargeable batteries using one charger design.
